How to Check Prop Firm Rule Changes: A Monthly Review Worksheet
Track dated changes to account rules without treating an old monthly snapshot or an unsupported announcement as a current provider policy.
Start with the rules that govern your order
Find the agreement, plan name, account phase and effective date that apply to your purchase. A new website page may apply only to later orders. Ask the provider which version controls your account if a notice does not say so clearly.
Record a change as a specific comparison
Keep the old wording, the new wording, both dates and a worked example. Review drawdown, consistency, permitted trading, platform access, fees and withdrawals separately. An apparent removal of one condition does not establish that all account stages changed. This revision does not claim that a particular January 2026 rule change or firm closure occurred.
Resolve uncertainty before relying on the update
If a change affects an active position or eligibility, obtain a written explanation through the provider’s official support route. Keep that reply with the relevant clause. Update your own worksheet only when the account scope is clear. A third-party summary is a useful lead, but it cannot replace the terms that govern the selected product.
